![]() This means that the Trolls accomplished their evil plan without anyone knowing they had been manipulated. At the end of Frozen II, Kristoff proposes to Anna, who accepts while still actively hating Hans (as shown by her describing him as a villain in their charades game earlier in the movie). Since their objective was to get Anna to marry Kristoff, they would achieve this goal sometime after Frozen II. In addition, the Trolls would be some of the only Disney villains to fully succeed in their plans. If they enchanted Hans to be evil, then the Trolls would be indirectly responsible for Elsa and Anna nearly dying by Hans’ hand. First, the Trolls would be the true villains of the story. If this theory were true, there would be several major consequences for Frozen. What It Would Mean For Frozen If The Prince Hans Theory Were True Since Hans has a clear opportunity to let Elsa die and does not take it, this suggests that the theory that the Trolls manipulated him into later turning evil could be correct. However, he forces the guard to shoot his crossbow away from Elsa, saving her life. Then, he could have married Anna without any suspicions against him and immediately become king alongside Anna. If Hans had been evil, he could have let the guards kill her. On orders from the Duke, his guards try to kill Elsa. While on a mission to find Anna, Hans, the Duke of Weselton’s guards, and a group of soldiers from Arendelle find Elsa’s Ice Palace. This would mean that Hans was actually good for the majority of Frozen, which seems to be supported by his actions in Elsa’s Ice Palace. That way, Kristoff could marry her instead. In response, the Trolls immediately console Kristoff by singing, “ Get the fiancée out of the way, and the whole thing will be fixed!” This line inspired the idea that the Trolls bewitched Hans to ensure that Anna would not want to marry him anymore. This theory finds its roots in the lyrics to the Troll’s song “Fixer Upper.” Although this song begins by explaining why Anna should love Kristoff despite his flaws, it changes when Kristoff explains that Anna is already engaged to someone else. Prince Hans Isn't A Villain - Frozen Theory Explained While certain song lyrics and actions support this theory, other major events in Frozen disprove it. Instead, the Trolls might have used their magic to manipulate Hans into acting like a villain. According to this theory (via Inside the Magic), Hans might not have been evil. While the Trolls seemed to mean well in Frozen, their efforts have led to an interesting theory. Years later, they were excited when Kristoff brought a girl home to meet them and assumed they were in love, even trying to marry them on the spot. At the beginning of Frozen, the Trolls adopted a young ice harvester named Kristoff and his reindeer, Sven. Near the end of Frozen, one of the main love interests, Prince Hans, revealed that he had been plotting to steal the throne, nearly killing both Princess Anna and Queen Elsa in the process.Īnother aspect of Frozen that stood out was the Trolls, a race of magical creatures who could make themselves look like rocks. The first movie retold Hans Christian Anderson’s fairytale, The Snow Queen, and included a unique twist for Disney animated features. ![]() ![]() Released in 2013, Frozen quickly became a blockbuster, leading to the production of the highest-grossing animated movie ever, Frozen II. Frozen broke Disney norms by featuring a handsome prince who turned out to be evil however, one theory claims that Prince Hans might have never been a villain at all.

Don't touch it with your hands - it's molten hot! Throw anything against it to break it free, then use the magnet to pick it up. Head through the nearby door and look on the wall to see a crowbar stuck to the wall. Now you have unrestricted access to the upper third floor, and more places to run and hide. Go through the opened fence and head up the stairs to the locked door, which can now be unlocked with the key you just picked up. Now you can freely move between the first and second floors of the house. Flip the big yellow switch on the wall near the stairs to open the iron fence. Jump back across the annoying gap and turn left to open the door at the end of the hall filled with eye paintings. If Your Inventory Is Full, The Key Drops To The Ground Use the magnet to pull a blue key out of that room. Pull down the painting off the wall here to reveal a hole into the next room. Get ready for another annoying sideways jump to reach that platform. There will be an empty spot in front of you and a platform over to the left just out of reach. Turn right, then take the first door on your left. Remove the chair blocking the nearby doorway and head through to a hallway filled with paintings of eyes. You should see a red and blue magnet device just poking out of the shelf blocking your way - grab it! Head over to your left towards a blocked entrance and crouch down. Head inside the window, then jump down through the hole in the left corner of the room. Jump to the platform, then grab the mannequin and smash out the window in front of you. Immediately down and across from you is a boarded red window, and below that is a white landing platform. ( Note: Jumping is easier if you have an umbrella in hand and use it while falling, which slows your movement.) ![]() Yes, you will have to do this several annoying times, because the jumping and physics still aren't perfect in this Alpha version. Take a deep breath and jump across to the roller coaster tracks. Head down the stairs in the corner and open the regular door (ignore the door in the floor that drops straight down). You should now see the roller coaster track just to the side, but ignore it for now (although we will return here several times later). Head inside and tap the big red button on the generator inside this room. Seussian-style home that has no rhyme or reason to its floor plan.Ībout three quarters of the way up you will see an opening on your left. You'll need this route open to get across the neighbor's weird Dr. Since you hit the switch, a new door will have opened, leading to an extremely long ladder that heads straight up. Head inside the house and go down the hallway to the corner where you can either head up to the second floor or find a section of hallway blocked off with boxes. ![]() Throw any object smaller than a box - like a shoe or a banana peel or even your flashlight - to hit the switch visible through the grate. Head around to the right hand side of the neighbor's house and use two or three boxes to create a makeshift ladder so you can reach the open grate near a window. You won't need this till way at the end though - so if you need inventory space, just set it on the ground somewhere you can pick up later. To get started, remove the box from the yellow car trunk right outside your house and grab the red key. Keep in mind that there are other potential routes to reach the ending - this is just the way I went on my first playthrough!
